I see that both window/door lock wires run to the relay which says to me that it is fine since the windows work. Refer to the wiring diagram, below. does anyone have or know where i can buy a power door locks relay for a 1984 c10? in the original factory wiring, power (b+) runs directly from the fuse box. i had an issue where the driver's door lock quit operating but the switch still worked the passenger side just fine. the relay switches the 12v and ground connections that go to the door motors, to either lock or unlock. Or, is there a modern day alternative i. Could be on top of column and. Dirt heap and easy simple. Find the door lock relay. i have a keyless entry remote and that will unlock and lock all doors. The stock lock relay is under dash. Go to the breaker panel on the wall next to the brake pedal.
